Also our in house fabrication shop can custom shear, break and roll form an array of metal materials.

Custom Flashing and Soffits

Metal flashings and soffits are an important part of the building envelope assembly, and can also be an important part of the building aesthetic. Properly installed soffit provides essential ventilation and air circulation to reduce excess moisture that can cause rotting and decay of the roof's structure. Altium's experienced sheet metal specialists can ensure that the custom flashings and soffits for your project are both functional and attractive.

Extruded Aluminum Soffit & Siding

Extruded aluminum soffits and sidings are available in a variety of choices and are stable, uniform and lightweight. Their design, mostly driven by architects seeking cleaner details, adds a distinctive profile to interiors and exteriors of buildings. Using trim over panel joints becomes an architectural element and is a way of expressing the joints and defining their deliberate placement. They add a level of architectural refinement.

Metal Roofing

A metal roof will likely be the last roof you ever purchase. Our quality metal roof will last generations – three times or longer than an asphalt shingle roof subsequently costing as little or less than asphalt as the life expectancy of an asphalt roof is only 10 – 15 years. On average, a quality metal roof can substantially increase the value of a home where asphalt shingle roofs are often a liability when it comes time to sell your home. Metal roofs will stay looking beautiful as they're virtually maintenance free and come in an array of colours and profiles to dramatically improve the style of any home. Unlike asphalt or wood shingles, a metal roof exposed to burning embers will not catch fire. Metal roofs are also far better than shingles in high winds. Steel is the #1 recycled material in the world and residential metal roofs are made from up to 30% recycled steel. Asphalt shingles contain petroleum, are rarely recycled and contribute over 11 million tons of landfill waste per year.

Metal Wall Cladding

Metal wall cladding is strong yet lightweight, and provides relatively straight forward installation and quick coverage. Altium uses it extensively on a wide variety of buildings and can provide you with a solution that will give you that traditional, contemporary or modern look. We offer a broad range of profiles- from clean lines to or our corrugated profile. The most commonly used materials are prefinished steel and aluminium, although stainless steel and weathering steels are also available. Our Cladding comes in a vast array of standard and custom colors and a wide choice of aesthetic finishes. Altium's custom metal cladding systems come complete with coordinating installation systems, extrusions, trims, components and accessories to give you a finished look.

Plate Wall Panels

These assemblies may be formed from various sheet metal products, such as stainless steel, painted aluminum or natural metals (excluding zinc). The joints and seams are typically welded and sealed. The attachment method is often concealed, while allowing for micro-adjustment and construction tolerance. System design is generally a rain-screen construction, which allows for expansion and contraction of the panels through the season's changing climates, and thus require a properly sealed building envelope back-up for the panels.

Preformed Insulated Panels

Preformed insulated panels consist of prefinished galvanized steel facings chemically bonded to a continuously foamed-in-place core. The core provides thermal insulation, while the durable steel skins supply impact resistance, strength for increased span capacity, and a built-in vapour barrier. Insulated panels provide distinctive architectural features in both horizontal and vertical orientations, with a wide variety of dazzling architectural effects available, such as transverse and longitudinal bends, varied reveals, and curved panels.
